Last nights concert depends on your perspective.
If it was your one and only u2 concert, then it was awesome because u2 never puts on a bad show.
If you are like me and have been to several of their shows it was a bit of a disappointment. This was my 8th show of the Vertigo tour. The highlight of this show was the Edge because Bono's voice was just not up to it's usual caliber. With the exception of the Edge, the band seemed to lack their usual vibrant energy. Their movements around the stage seemed scripted and lacked the spontaneity that we expect from Bono.
The other disappointment was the crowd. Why pay good money not to enjoy yourself? This is the first u2 concert I have been to that the crowd was not on their feet for most of the concert! The people sitting next to me were comatose and left before the concert was over!
Despite my criticism, I still had a great time. There were some highlights such as "Stuck in a moment" and "where the streets have no name"
