My wife and I have had the good fortune to see U2 twice during the Vertigo tour, the first being Boston (05-26). While this show was not the best U2 show that I have ever seen, it was still great. I was thrilled to hear songs like Miss Sarajevo, Yahweh and 40 for the first time live.
My wife made a sign saying “Baby girl in my belly wants 2 dance w/Bono.” While she didn’t get the opportunity to do so, she still had a brief moment of connection with Bono. When he walked down the ellipse towards the tip during Love and Peace or Else, he noticed the sign and stopped briefly. He read the sign and rubbed his belly and smiled at her. Granted it was a very brief moment and could have been easily missed, but for her it was special.
