I now know why U2 sold out the Hartford Civic Center in 2-3 hours when tickets went on sale a few months ago. There are very few bands that I haven't seen live but U2 was one of them until last night. I spent the entire show on my feet in the reserved section as did most of the crowd. The setlist
is a perfect mix of old and new songs all performed with energy and passion. My only regret is that I didn't go with general admission tickets on the floor. I thoght the floor would be too jammed but it looked like there was room for everybody, and I stood up all night anyway. For anyone without tickets for any of the upcoming shows, remember that Ticketbastard, I mean Ticketmaster releases some held back tickets on the day of the show. I was online at 10:00 A.M. Sunday and put in a request for 4 resreved seats and
they were available so you never know.
Thanks to U2 for a great night. WALK ON!!
