Some context. I'm 41. I found U2 when I was a teen around the "Pride" era. I quickly latched onto what I had missed on the previous albums and then followed them religiously. Bono, I feel, is a spiritual estranged brother. As the years went on Achtung Baby grew in my own personal appreciation of it. I have been to many concerts both as a fan and a professional but this was my first u2 concert.
My expectations for the show were high.
My expectations were exceeded. Many times.
Right off the bat, the first three songs are my favorites from Achtung Baby.
When I heard I Will Follow I obtained a permagrin.
This won't be my last U2 show. Two thumbs, way up.
