The band was in excellent form tonight. Too bad the same could not be said for the temporary stadium or the weather. The bleachers felt as if they would break any second, which prevented anyone in them from dancing or jumping. You constantly felt the sway and bounce while standing and it made us fearful to move. It is difficult to enjoy "Vertigo" or "Elevation" without being able to move. Then, the skies opened up and the rain came pouring down just as the show ended. Since the Montreal police had limited access to the stadium, and made everyone take public transportation, we spent over 60 minutes standing in the downpour, before escaping and eventually hailing a cab. So, U2 was perfect but the rest of the evening was not.
