As soon as Bono and the boys started belting out "Even Better than the Real Thing ", you just knew you were in for a hell of a night.
It was Achtung Baby in you Face, and there was no getting away.
Sure, you may have had a few drinks before the show in the local Montreal Irish watering holes in the city, but you didn't have too, cause Bono was gonna get you smashed.
A U2 show is aways a pretty good bet to see an Amazing gig...And this gig non the less was pretty Amazing also...just sadly some great songs from," No Line on the Horizon"were dropped.
Missing songs were, " Breathe " which was the opening number at the start of the 360 tour. Also " Magnificent "...and the Chorus of " Unknown Caller " as well as " No Line on the Horizon " itself.
It's such a shame these songs were dropped, because it set the tone, the vibe of the 360 tour...now sadly it's just a 360 greatest Hits tour.
So if you were lucky to catch this tour from the start...then you will know what I mean.
But by no means was this show lacking from the get go.
The Stage was Bono's Alter, and the crowd of 80,000 plus came to worship...but in the end we all paid for our sins, as God opened up the heavens to show us who was the real Boss.
