My first U2 show - 14 yrs old. Long time ago, but I remember this much... They came onstage to the sound of "Drowning Man".... Bono drank champagne out of the bottle... They played (not in this order) "I Threw A Brick Through a Window", "I Will Follow", "Pride", "Bad", "Sunday Bloody Sunday", (Bono drank more champagne from the bottle), "New Years Day", "Unforgettable Fire", "Sort of Homecoming", "MLK", "Gloria", (more champagne), "Party Girl" - Bono trips over himself, forgets lyrics in the middle of the song, falls to his knees, tells the audience they can sing it better than he can, points the mic out to the audience who finishes the song, "40".... And the crowd is singing "40" twenty minutes after the band goes off the stage. They depart via helicopter. I'll never forget it.
