U2 just keeps getting better. This concert proved that U2 are musically more proficient than they have ever been. I have seen them at least once in each of their tours and this tour tops them all. The Edge did a brilliant acoustic rendition of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and he and Bono together performed Desire. There was a moving tribute at the end when during "Wake up dead man", Michael Hutchence's image was portrayed on the screen. During "Hold me, Thrill me, Kiss me, Kill me" Princess Di's image was featured prominently .
Of course the lads emerged from the Giant Lemon for one of the encore's. Bono put so much feel into "Please" that you could almost reach out and touch it. That song was the highlight of the night. U2 are obviously enjoying this tour which makes things so much better for all of us fans.
