A really strong show tonight, eclipsing last night's in several respects. Edge was in a much more energetic and rocking mood, he was on fire during "Electric Co." : out on the lip of the stage just going nuts-a very cathartic moment-he was definitely workin' out some frustration and getting it out of his system. "An Cat Dubh"....what can I say? Waiting 22 years to hear this again live was well worth it, spectacular-a funny moment at the end, Edge skipped the guitar harmonics that usually come at the end, so Larry tapped out a rhythmic "reminder" on his ride cymbal while watching E, who decided to go ahead and end the song. Adam seemed more into it tonight, and "original of the species" was a nice spontaneous departure-I could see bono talking to Edge as they were about to go off, and was delighted to see adam and larry come back to make it a full-band version-well done, no bum notes or missed cues. At the show's start you could clearly see a mega-tussle start at the tip of the ellipse, prompting bono to emphasize the line "where's the love" to signal that folks should chill and stop pushing. I was down in the same area Saturday and there were no problems-maybe no alcohol on the floor next time? I do hope no-one was seriously roughed-up.
