The Minneapolis concert was great. The song list and the band were as good if not better than the Madison show I attended in June. You could really tell they were getting into the groove. If there was one down fall though, it was the sound. The Metrodome was horrible. If not for my good seats, I would have been disappointed.

Smashmouth thought way too much of themselves and the crowd didn't seem to care too much for them.

Bono's voice was great the whole night.

Highlights included Edge's Sunday Bloody Sunday, One, and With or Without You.

There was a slew of oldies halfway through the set also that was a definite highlight.

The encore was tops with extended versions of Discotheque and Mysterious Ways.

Please and Streets along with HM,TM,KM,KM were all top notch as well.

A very pleasing surprise, although half the 40,000 crowd didn't seem to recognize was Wake Up. Dead Man following a soaring version of One.

Overall this concert was better in the song selection, and organization, but if you can try to avoid domes if you're thinking of going to see them, it just puts a downer on things.

Things aside this concert was tops, and surprisingly drew good reviews from the local papers.
