I've been a U2 fan all my life. The 1st time I saw U2 was at the Lovetown in Sydney, Australia. I was also at the ZooTV concert that was later released on video. After seeing them on all their tours (since Lovetown), they have changed....they've become BETTER and BETTER each time!!! The Tampa show was no different....Only that The Edge broke the high E string on his guitar during Sunday Bloody Sunday...and the rest of the band didn't miss a beat. Dallas had another guitar ready, and before you know it, The Edge ripped into the MUTED SCRATCH GUITAR SOLO that we've all come to love...AMAZING!!! There were a few surprises like Wild Horses, Angel Of Harlem and My Sweet Lord (George Harrison cover). My favorite song was The Fly (awesome version). They could've played With Or Without You (Joshua Tree live version) instead of What's Going On. Both the sound and lighting were excellent. The crowd was full of energy - singing along to every song.
The only low point was that they couldn't play all night through to the next day....can't wait for their next album and tour!
