What a great night to be a U2 fan! I disagree with what many have said about how the band seemed distant or like they were not enjoying themselves. I think this show was entirely consistent with what they have done with HTDAAB. It is in your face, loud, bad, and so amazingly good! Bono was a bit reserved, but I think he and the band will get more creative with the dimensional impact that passing through the "screens" can have and how that can impact the show. Only negative...the SD Sports Arena. Place is a dump, 4 total restrooms, hot as the surface of the sun, and the margaritas were just too sweet! ;) Anyway, set list was great, not a huge fan of Yahweh, but understanding its relevance more each time I hear it and I think it probably has its place in this set list. By the way, Larry was as into this show as I have seen (I think the real rocker in him came out). Can't wait to do it all again soon!
