All I can say is...The Edge, The Edge, The Edge! He blew me away Wednesday. I have seen the boys over a dozen times and I have never seen him as confident, aggressive and as good as he was last night. The set list was part of it (Electric co, Zoo Nation, Fly, Bullet, All Because of you, etc.) but you can tell he has a fresh passion and energy that is infectious. He will be the one stretching and pushing Bono this time.
Overall the set list was amazing! Anytime you see Gloria, Electric co, Running to stand still, and 40 in the same set list - its hard to be too negative. If they keep bringing it like this show, this show could be one of their best ever. Believe me - I do not say that lightly.
One compaint - they have to fix the process on how individuals get into the egg. The first two people in our line got their at 6:00 am and organized the whole thing for over 12 hours. They did not get in. I flew in from Atl and was number 120 and did not get in. You can not find more loyal fans than the ones that sit out their all day!
Regardless - this show rocked!
There were all sorts of mix and timing issues thoughout the show issues you can tell he is on his game.
