"POPMart at MURPH"
Well, for starters let me tell you how much we missed seeing U2 on the road again. Its worth waiting for!!!! The San Diego show was great from beginning to the end (even though a lot of people wanted more but who can blame them?) I think a lot of them wanted a more traditional "encore" than the one we got, but hey, I got the message loud and clear - U2 is out in good form and Bono's entrance speaks for itself. You'll see...
In the stadium: My special friend and I were somewhere in the second floor and from there my thoughts were focused on the way some people danced on the floor and jumped for joy at the beat of Larry's kit. His energy was felt from the stadium all the way to Tijuana!! Ha!
About the songs: The music selection was amazing but I thought "Please" sounded very much like "Sunday bloody Sunday". Also, I would have loved for them to play "If God Will Send His Angels" in its entirety but hey, it was concert #2 and a solid one it was!
