my first u2 show. memorable for 3 reasons:
1)the mist that fell that night must've made the band feel like they were playing before a dublin crowd.
2)bullet the blue sky- the jet's landing lights came on as it passed over the stage toward us. just incredible! glad someone else remembered that sight.
3)bono's arm was in a sling. when he called for a guitar player, out came bruuuuuce!
i've seen multiple shows on every american tour since, but nothing was like that cold, misty night in south philly.
how long to sing this song!
