Where to begin. I guess its always better at home. This was my sixth elevation--Indy, Chicago 1, 4, 5, and 6--and KC blew the lid off. To get a few things straight, Bono sang almost all of "When I look at the World" as a Coda to "Bad" along with a nearly complete version of "Peace on Earth." As far as I know these were firsts.
You can thank Tim (onebonohill) and the rest of the Chicago contingent for "When I look at the World." While we were in line he circulated a copy of the lyrics for fans in the line to autograph and then once we were in the heart at the front next to the stage he recognized John, U2's head of security--the thickly muscled bald man with the head set. John graciously came over to talk and Tim showed him the lyrics sheet which he agreed to show the band. Evidently it does pay to advertise.
