All I can say is unbelievable performance! My first U2 concert and I attended with my daughter. Arrived at 6 AM to secure great seats and were fortunate enough to get into the elipse - right on the rail between Bono and Edge! I have been to many other concerts and this tops everything by far. The crowd was totally into it. I have nothing to compare to because I have only seen the band on live DVD's but it far surpassed my expectations. Adam was totally interacting with us and seemed really cool - the Edge winked at me! Bono was unbelievable - what energy! Larry also seems really cool - I saw him smile a lot and seemed to be having a lot of fun.
Loved the opener - also loved Streets and Elevation. In fact there wasn't a single song that wasn't great. If I had to pick one that was my least fav. it would be Yahweh - would have much preferred to hear Bad but hey it was a great show!!!! 40 is a great closer - wish the show could have gone on another 2 hours!
Also - unlike some fans around me - we loved Kings of Leon - lots of raw energy - reminded me of the Ramones.
