WOW.
Ok, so I'm biased. That was my son Jason who was pulled up by Bono last night. It was his second show this tour, my fourth. Talk about getting the rock star treatment in the Ellipse after he got back. I thought San Jose 2 was off the charts, but I think Seattle 2 was even better.
I was praying to get Bad, which would have made my night all on its own. But to get Gloria and OOTS, plus the special Vertigo encore, was phenomenal. We were in seats in Section 125 3 rows up, basically right on top of the Edge on Sunday as well. Just a perfect set of shows.
We got a copy of the set list from a crew member after the show, and 40 was scheduled, just like all the other shows. Closing with Vertigo breathed new life and energy into the normal wind down at the end. Awesome Achtung Baby trilogy as well, we heard Bono going Buzz, Buzz to usher in The Fly - way cool.
If anyone has additional photos to post or share, we would love to see them (my email is tryan101@earthlink.net). My son is still on cloud 9, and has vowed never to wash his shirt because its got Bono's DNA on it. I think he's watching a little too much CSI these days.
