Opening in Europe, Brussels was pretty good. Sound was perfect from the spot I was in (on the right side of the stage, just out of the Fos-spots).
In the beginning Bono's voice was overdubbed by the music, but as far as I could hear problems were solved quickly.
The lightshow was very good, the songs and balance between them were fine, the tempo of the whole concert was okay (no extra long pauzes between the songs).
Two things they should work on:
1. Make the stage 1 or 2 meter higher for the people in the back of the fieldplaces
2. Don't over do the "political" and "praying" messages
A couple of things the belgian hosts should work on:
1. After ending of the gig, open more exits sooner
2. Don't you ever turn of the lights again on the moment half of the fans is still inside
3. Make work of a good travel-plan, close some roads so people can leave safely and fast
4. Give priority to parking C and its exit-possibilty's.
Though, you are still friendly people you Belgian neighbours and the atmosphere of the whole gig was fabulous and relaxed. Thanks.
For all U2 fans: enjoy the next concerts, I enjoyed mine very well !
