I was impressed and shocked that I would be entertained by RATM. They were a talented group and "tight" live. I was shocked and disappointed in Bono's voice and he cursed more than any other performance I am aware of. Clearly he was upset that his voice was failing. They were a little P.O.'d that Memphis did not sell out and I think their performance was just going through the motions. Any U2 concert is great and I am glad I went, but they were not up to snuff and I think they would admit it was one of their worst shows ever, if not THE worst. I actually felt sad for Bono as his voice literally faded away and the closer was simply pitiful. I felt like he was dying before our eyes and this would be their last tour. I was glad to hear a better Bono on Elevation and hope they will do Nashville soon, but Memphis will never see U2 again I am quite sure. Our loss.
