this concert completely blew me away. although i may be a bit biased, given that U2 is one of my favourite bands and this was my first U2 concert, it was the most awesome experience - and the best $105 spent. i went with my mom, who liked a little of their stuff, but wasn't an avid fan or anything. but i ended up converting her!
neither of us cared much for ratm. i know a lot of people there liked their music, but i just wasn't impressed. plus, i was anxious for U2 to start playing.
from what i've seen and heard, the memphis setlist wasn't too much different from other setlists. but i did like the part where he commented about mlk, and ending with an elvis song. it gave it a personal touch.
all in all, this remains the best concert i've ever attended!
