I saw this show from center court, at the back of the crowd. A neighbor joined the 3 of us and was able to buy his ticket at the box office; he was just above and behind us. The 4 of us may be the only fans there that night who did not join the band on stage. I've never seen anything like it. This was the night Bono took the white flag and left the stage (during Electric Co), eventually coming down to the railing on the rights side of the stage - directly across from us. He climbed over the rail and dropped to the floor. I thought the show was over, but fans broke his fall. Although I was at opening night for Led Zeppelin's LA Forum '77 show, the Stones at the Big A (the "shoe show" in '78, and the Who at the Forum in '80 (all great shows), and 5 other U2 shows since this one, no concert was ever better. Best show in all of history.
