Well, well, well. What can you say? What can you say?!!! The greatest band on the planet just finished a show at the greatest arena in the greatest city in the world. I wish I was a better writer so I could describe to the fans across the world how wonderful our four boys were tonight. Top form. Bono's voice has never been better. He had a day off yesterday and he knows he'll have a day off tommorow so he let it all hang out. Powerful, electrifying opening of Elevation. The crowd was jumping and "whooooing" right along with Bono. Beautiful Day brought the crowd to an even higher level. The crowd stood for the entire show and sang every song right along with Bono. He and the rest of the band really seemed happy. Happy with their lives, and the show and the fans and everything. He wished Paul MccGiness happy birthday and made repeated references as to how they "got their start in NY" and how "New York was our ground zero." Their were no real surprises in the set list and I for one have no problem with that. Play the songs we love and then play them again and again and again. We'll never get enough. Where the Streets Have No Name is a religious experience. If you don't feel god or electricity or something just flowing through you then you should check yourself into a hospital. There must be something wrong with you. As I walked out of MSG, I again, am at peace with the planet. I leave their concerts without a care in the world. I truly feel that if I were to die in the middle of the show, I would drift to heaven a happy man. That's special. There's no price that can be put on an experience like that. Ticket prices are too high? HA! If you think that then, either you are truly poor and I'm sorry if that is the case or you just aren't a real U2 fan. A real U2 fan doesn't complain. They smile as the band takes them to heaven, night after night. Thanks again Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry. I love you.
