WOW! They were on fire last night...I went in expecting a great concert, well my expectations were met and surpassed over and over again. Every time they played one of those much desired songs like With or Without You or Pride or Streets or Sunday Bloody Sunday, I kept being pleasantly surprised and they continued to please me with all the old faves... No doubt about it the U2 I loved back then is back and better than ever...I am one of the ones that appreciates the political messages--it just adds to the real substance that U2 brings to us...they educated my mind, elevated my soul and rocked my world! They perfectly mixed the old with the new and selected the best of the in between...I was left fully satisfied--no regrets no complaints THE BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED EVER!!!!! I feel that they went all out for NY and part of what made it work was the connection between the audience and the band, it seemed that most fans were on their feet dancing and singing along with the band non stop as if we were all performing together with the band...there was definetly chemistry last night....Bono talked a good amount on a personal level too: about their start in NY and about Joey Ramone...I have tickets to Thursday's NJ show...I expect a great show but last night was one of those unforgettable nights that will be tough to come close to...
