Saw both MSG shows and Sunday was clearly the winner for me. Sunday's audience was hungry, kicked it up many levels. So did Tuesday's but not with the same fever. The Gone Kite New York stretch was the 1-2-3 punch. Sunday was explosive, the crowd's energy pushed the band to a height not reached on Tuesday. Tuesday did have high energy 11 o Clock Tick Tock and NYD though. The difference between the two nights may seem subtle to some, but Sunday I felt like I had a religious experience, Tuesday was just good fun. Not that good fun is bad, right? U2 rocked hard both nights and were very good. Tuesday was far from flat...both were intense...but Sunday had the edge for me. and this all falls under the In My Not So Humble Opinion category! ;-)))
I say tonight's show holds much promise! wish i was going.
Fall Tour - How about a Mofo, Last Night Earth, Discotheque in the set?!? Pop rules! It ain't no step-child!
