Absolutely "elevating"...I could barely contain myself when I heard the opening beats to "Out of Control". Having never heard one of my all time favorite U2 songs done live...I was ecstatic. Although it was disappointing that most of the crowd in my immediate area appeared to not recognize this song nor "11 O'Clock Tick Tock". U2's choice in songs was very well rounded and it was quite evident that they enjoy performing their latest material from "All That You Can't Leave Behind". Bono was his old self, working the stage and catwalk in his familiar stagger. Edge & Adam were stoic as always and Larry was deeply focused. Although they put on a terrific performance, some of that special impomptu energy was missing..just a wee bit. Could just be that the band was simply weary since the tour was coming to a close. Having also seen them on Sunday 6/17...the Tuesday performance was the better of two.
