Crappy ending to an incredible show and an amazing 8 nights at MSG. Not going to blame Patti Smith because I don't care about her and the ramblings that emanate from her mouth. Upset that U2 dampened everybody's Thanksgiving spirits by misguidedly putting this "downer" on the bill and having her perform with them. First night was acceptable (so happy she was booed because of her inane comments), but they pushed the envelope having her join them a second night and everybody got ripped off because of it. Bono is a great visionary, but he, his bandmates, and everybody in attendance lost on this gamble. Don't need to hear Beatles or Patti....a simple Yahweh and 40 would do just fine. I guess it was unlucky show 13 for me on the Vertigo tour. Too bad it was my last. Hopefully they can revisit NY next year and make this up to us. May sound harsh and unfair considering this could arguably be their best tour, but on 11/22/05 we were all really just left with a "bad taste in our mouths."
