Simply amazing show. My 5th Vertigo Tour show but my first of the third leg. Was one of the longer U2 shows I can recall at 2 1/2 hours. All 4 spent a lot of time on the ellipse. MSG in New York, in my opinion, is the premier North American venue to see U2(apologies to Boston and Chicago). They were so pumped up which is why I always make it a point to make sure I see them in NY, among other venues, every tour. I live in Dallas.
Bono's voice seems to be getting stronger as the tour has evolved. Nice treats included The First Time, Crumbs & Stuck in a Moment. Miss Sarajevo. Wow. Tons of snippets throughout the show as well. Great inter-band interaction and band-audience interaction and eye contact. There simply is no live act like U2 from a production, performance and audience perspective. I will say that Coldplay is the heir to the U2 concert throne but U2 are still far and away the Kings. The 6 minutes of Streets simply cannot be explained to folks that have not experienced it.
Going again tonight and cannot wait!!
