What can I say? OH MY GOD! I am still shaking. Everything worked tonight. The crowd was unbelievable. I think the band really fed off of that tonight. This was my first show of the tour, and I was worried that the songs weren't gelling like previous tours. Everything was perfect tonight. The boys brought me through a roller coaster of emotions. By the time Streets started, I was so emotionally drained that I wasn't sure what I had left. All I Want is You was a nice surprise. Bono didn't use the Ring as much as I thought he would. When Larry left the stage after 40, the crowd was screaming for a good 5 minutes before the lights came on. No encore of Vertigo tonight- didn't need it. Everything just worked. Thanks U2 for giving me a night I will never forget.
