The boys sounded great except for Bono. His voice was shot. The worst I've heard in the 16 times I've seen U2. Suprisingly he nailed the Pavaroti part in Miss Sarajevo.Go figure. He made up for it with spirit and enthusiasm. He sang a few verses of Patti Smith's "Rock n Roll Nigger" during Vertigo and got the crowd chanting "People Got The Power" during Bad, dedicating Bad to Patti. The Zoo Station and The Fly encore opening was great. Maybe it didn't work in other cities but in NYC it was awesome. The Edge, Larry and Adam were flawless. Overall, great show. I can't wait until Friday!NYC is #1!
