One of the most electric crowds I have seen at a U2 show in recent years...the audience was really pumped. Unfortunately, the set list was bit dissapointing as it was basically the same show they were touring with most of the spring.
Don't get me wrong, I love to hear these songs. (I am still always taken in by 'The Fly' and 'With Or Without You'.) It would have been nicer to hear Crumbs, Original, Wild Horses, First Time, Fast Cars...all of them were absent. As a result, things seemed a little a scripted. Maybe they played it a bit conservative as Bono's voice sounded like he was struggling a bit with some tunes...there was an obvious problem during 'Pride'.
All in all a great time, though. NYC fans at the Garden are second to no one.
