without a doubt the sickest U2 show these eyes have ever seen and these ears have ever heard. U2 makes a trimphant return to MSG in the aftermath of the horrific events of September 11. The emotions were just overwhelming during One when the screens displayed the names of the loved ones which we have lost. Out of Control was a personal highlight of mine considering how I have never seen it live (I would have if i hadn't sold my tix for the 6/19 show). While this was the first time i saw U2 from a location in the venue other than the floor I could not have asked for more than to be in a cool section where there the fans were ther for the music rather than for an excuse to get drunk. Bad and Streets were obvious highlights. I told my girlfriend before the show tha.t this was a night for all New Yorkers to release the tension that had been bottled up for the last six weeks and I would just like to say that the bottle is empty. Chants of USA throughout the night made me realize that tonight's show was like no other that Larry, Adam, Bono and the Edge had ever performed before and I will remember the specialality of this night for the rest of my life. Thank you to the boys and let's raise a pint to the NYFD, NYPD, NYEMS, the Port Authority Police and those who gave their lives on Flight 93 to save countless innocent victims.
