I saw them in Albany in June - right at the front - and last night I saw them from behind the stage. It was really quite a spectacle - to watch the entire crowd from that vantage point, as well as to watch some of the band interactions you miss when you're in front. That's not to say it's better than being in the heart - because it's not even close - but it was cool nonetheless.

It did seem like a short show, and I was surprised only that they didn't play the Fly, as it's a song that begs to be played live. It's not even straining on Bono's voice. Who knows. But for the short time they did play, they seemed happy and energetic, the crowd interactions were very cool, and One just goes up another level of emotion. You'd have to be hard-hearted indeed to miss the poignancy of the song and the moment.

Lastly, a guy to my left bought me a beer. I thought that was cool.
