Excellent show last night. Pretty much the same set list with slight variations. Thankfully Bono didn't pull fans up to play guitar or sing. This comes across as a bit contrived and not spontaneous when done on a daily basis. In addition, most of the fans I have seen (12 shows and counting) cannot play or sing very well. The covers were kept to a minimum also. The show is shorter than the 1st leg. U2 didn't get on stage until 9:30PM and Walk On finished at 11:15PM. Bono's speach prior to One seemed a bit disjointed and rambling. He even commented to the Edge that it made more sense backstage when he originally thought it up.Although there was a definite excitement in the arena, it still didn't match the 2nd MSG show of the 1st leg which was one of the best U2 concerts I have seen. After performing for 8 months and playing in some of the same cities for a 2nd time, I would have hoped for some more variation to the set list. Hopefully this will come in the 2 remaining NYC area shows.
