Basically I agree with most of the comments and reviews about the 10/25 show. Great show, but I think it was a bit too predictable. I saw them in May in Detroit - and with the exception of not hearing With Or Without You - being replaced by I Still Haven't Found what I am looking For - the show was incredibly predictable. Diehard fans are clamoring for something other then hits. How many more times are we gonna hear Streets played EXACTLY the same way it was on the JT tour? What about hearing "Party Girl" or something other then NYD for the thousandth time. Also I think they were suffering from some technical issues. During "Angel of Harlem" - Bono kept motioning for Edge to sing louder and also for Larry to hit his tom toms even louder.
I got there at 6am et. The security was nowhere to be found and MSG was horrible at handling the GA'ers into the Heart.
All that being said I still was Elevated once again. "One" was incredibly powerful with the images of the scrolling names that died in the Sept. 11, 2001 tragedy. The crowd was incredibly enthusiastic.
