This was my 4th elevation tour (MSG 6/19, CAA 6/22 and MSG 10/24), so I didn't expect many surprises. I have to admit I was a little disappointed with the 10/24. I almost sold my tickets for tonight because of it.
But, Please and Out of Control as an encore? More than I could have hoped for. It was touching to see all the fire and EMS personnel take the stage. I am a NYC EMS worker and had just attended a funeral for a fellow rescue worker that same afternoon. It wonderful to see my co-workers on stage with the greatest band in the world. Thank-you for giving us reason to smile and hope once again. U2 has truly lifted my spirits, and gave me a little extra to cope the the months ahead. If anyone has or know where I can get a bootleg video/CD or pictures please e-mail me @ onebadu2pride@aol.com.
