I needed a miracled [BADLY] and found it. After being shut out from Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster and other dubious types preying around MSG, I was about to give up. Just as I was shooting the breeze with some guy (who had his wife walking around MSG looking for tickets) a friendly Long Islander came up and asked if we needed one tix for tonight's show. Unless this guy was going to leave his wife - I knew I was there. He didn't trust me (a typical NYer) and I didn't trust him. Simply put, I paid a little more then face and had a real, yes real ticket to go see one of my favorite bands.
The concert - the band stands on it's own. What can I say that hasn't been said. They were awesome! I wish they could've ended with "40", but "Out of Control" was a good alternative. Props to that friendly Long Islander who made my night. Just goes to show that there are good people in this world - ESPECIALLY in New York.
