I've been a U2 fan since mid-80s, though last album bought is Joshua Tree...been to lots of stadium style shows and this stage and set-up was simply amazing, we sat in the back bleachers and it was fantastic, cant imagine whatvit was like in front!! Sound was as good or better than anything ive ever seen for a crowd that big!!!! Kudos!!! Set list had something for all age of U2 fan, highlights for me were Sunday Bloody Sunday, i will follow (though Bono pretty sloppy here...pretty sure he came out hammered and sobered up over course of the show...atta boy!!!!) and ending with 40 was inspired, though disapointed the crowd couldn't sustain an appropriate send off for the band by singing chorus, you could hear it but not as loud as i know the band would have liked for the last show of tour...anyways, still a great end to a great show...final note-adam clayton and larry mullen are funk-punk machine, so solid so good, most adulation goes to the other 2, but those 2 are the back bone that have allowed the band the long lasting success theyve had, my 1st time seeing u2 with some of the newer music being unfamiliar to me and the rythym section kept this old metalhead dancing the whole time...thanks U2 for coming, well done and cheers!!!!
