After a ong trip from Brussels to Boston and then drive up to Moncton, the sound of rain falling hard on the rental van was not a welcome sound. The campsite was turned into a mud bath but the athmosphere was ecelectic, with plenty of acoustic guitars ringing our U2 and other numbers. BBQing in the rain, nothing new for an irishman but this one was almost sinking into the mud.
The walk up to the show was great fun, a horde of mud covered bodies climbed Magnetic Hill and dropped into the most amazing natural auditorium. Before the show we were treated to a few fly passes by the Canadian Airforce. The seats at the back were great, excellent sound and great to see Dallas setting up Edge's gear. The band came out 20meters away from us and from start to finish it was non stop emotion. At the end when Larry was beating out 40 and Edge, Bono & Adam stood at the back of the stage eyes glued to the screen for one last time as the crowd sang out "How long to sing this song". You could see they didnt want this to end so I expect we will see them out again in a few years. The boys are not finished and ramin as Bon said "Out of control"
