Quoting SPIN magazine on this Toronto stop on the Zoo TV indoor tour "...U2's show is so good tonight, I nearly start crying..." and I couldn't agree more. I have been to some teeny-bopper shows before but I have never seen a crowd go so nuts for a concert as they did for this at Maple Leaf Gardens -- not a single person in the arena was sitting down. Although the concerts on the Zoo TV Outdoor and Popmart tours were great, I am sure that anyone who was at this show will agree that this one was special.

One special moment in particular was when U2 came out to the B-Stage and played Angel of Harlem. The crowd took over and started singing the chorus for 10 minutes straight. I still get goosebumps thinking about it.

U2 was "on" all night as everything clicked on stage. There was a girl a few rows back who was holding up a sign all night that said "Bono, will you dance with me tonight?". And as a beautiful end to a beautiful evening, Bono went into the crowd and got her and they danced as he sang "Love is Blindness".

As per tradition, the crowd started to sing '40' at the end of the concert. They sang it as they exitied down the hallways of the arenas and they sang it as they spilled out onto the streets. Very rarely does a band touch its audience like this. What an amazing night.
