Well, this was my second show and it was awesome!
my brother and I were numbers 132 and 133 in line. It was a long hot day but we had a good time catching up with one another and talking with other fans.
I had GC for Boston but my brother and I got inside the heart! what an incredible feeling to be there. My brother and I were about 15 feet away from the middle of the stage for the whole show. I don't know why anyone would want to be anywhere else. Some people have said they don't like it because when Bono and Edge go to the tip they aren't facing you.....well during Streets for example when Bono was out on the tip, I just turned around and watched the band play and Wow they are kick ass musicians! I felt like they were just playing to me because everyone else was turned around watching Bono. Another cool thing is when you were that close and you gave the band encouragement they responded with a nod or a smile and that is what makes this tour so different is the ability to really connect with the band. They really fed off of the crowd energy on this nite.
I did miss the Fly but songs like Gone, I Will Follow, Streets, Walk On, Until the End of the world, Elevation and Bullet were worth going for. I still love the moment in Kite when Bono sings the last verse by himself.
This was my last show and I felt a little down because who knows when I will see them again but they proved why they are the best band in the world and at least for one night everything in life is good.
