I have just come back for the two Washington shows, and they were amazing. These were my sixth and seventh shows, having seen them during the ZooTV and the PopMart tours. I flew to the shows from Arkansas because I feared that they wouldn't do a third leg, and I HAD to see this show. One of the most amazing things about the shows was that they were totally different from one another, so it was not a waste seeing them on two consecutive nights. Another reason for the difference is that on the first night, I was on the floor, very close to the stage while on the second night I was in the stands. (Advice: If you only see them once this tour, get the GA ticket.) The energy on the floor was something unlike anything that I have felt before. By the time of Sgt. Peppers, the place was vibrating. When Bono walked on the stage and the band began to play, it was an orgasmic experience. The band sounded so good and full, and played the concert with such heart. (No pun intended) New York was amazing, as was Sunday Bloody Sunday and Bullet the Blue Sky. Walk On was glorious. This was probably the greatest concert experience that I've ever had. Thank you U2.
