Both nights bleed into one, and they add up to more than the sum of their parts. Condie Rice was greeted by equal cheers and boohs, and it was probably quite important to the host to at least have both. If she had not felt welcome it would have been a disaster for him, in the interest of his efforts. I think she left early though, and I hope it was because of her schedule. Hopefully not in her search for another "smoking gun/ mushroom cloud", however. Never thought I would hear a shout out to Santorum during 'Bad'... very ZOO TV. Edge had Electric Co. down cold (the sound of revenge); 'Out of Control' "not played in 25 years!" (!), there weren't any F-15s used in Central America, the moving figure during 'Sometimes..'looks lame in a photo but has a great presence live. The 'Miss Sarajevo' video would have been a chilling backdrop and taken it to antoher level still (can't change the channel).
Damian Marley & crew are probably the best openers in a long time. Too bad it felt like listening to it all alone in a forest of trees.
