It was a long day in the GA line, but thanks to cloud cover, it never got too hot. Major shout outs to Gina (the most popular girl in line) for keeping us hydrated, and to Tom for buying us lunch! I was about 80th in line and still managed to get to the barrier directly in front of Adam. P.J. put on a good show, but she was drowned out by her band, which is a shame because she has a great voice. U2 took charge from the start, and this show was so much more personal than the show in Pittsburgh 4 years ago. Being in the heart and slapping hands with Bono may have had something to do with it, but it was the most incredible concert experience I have had. The band didn't miss a thing, and the only lyrics that got mixed up were in Mysterious Ways, and that was still amazing. I loved and was into everything, but I had my hhighlights. Elevation and Until the End of the World rocked. Kite was amazing! The version of Bad with elements of All I Want is You was a treat because throughout the tour, they have been interchanging both, so it was nice that they found a way to combine them. And of course the old standards rocked. The Fly was very cool with the intro, and Bullet the Blue Sky was the best it has ever been. I got a lot of great pictures from where I was. I took a first timer with me, and she was like a kid in a candy store. I think she finally understands my obsession!
