The Pittsburgh show last night was absolutely fantastic. It marks the first U2 concert I've ever attended (couldn't afford to attend any shows on the last tour, not because they were too expensive, but because I had just started college), and of the fifty different concerts by fifty different bands I've seen over the last ten years, this one is, and always will be, one of the shining stars. It was full of those rare and special moments when you think to yourself, "I'm really a part of something special here," and I think we all agree the band thought so, too. I feel very lucky to have been able to go. My seats were up in the "E" section, and while I'm sure it wasn't as good as being on the floor, the vantage still allowed for a great view of the whole set-up...And besides, Bono and the band do a better job of involving the whole crowd, no matter where their seats are, that any other band I know. Beautiful.
