Absolutely flawless show last night in Pittsburgh, from "Wake Up" to "40", the entire performance flowed quite nicely. The band was noticeably overwhelmed by audience participation. I was so unbelieveably impressed by Bono's voice, it was incredibly strong, particularly on songs like "Miss Sarejevo" and "Ol'Man River", that showcased vocals and relied on little instruemntal accompaniment. This time around, however, I felt that Bono failed to make a connection with the city itself like he's done in the past. It seemed as though he was struggling to recall any memories of the city. Hopefully after tonight, we reminded him of who we are and how much Pittsburgh loves U2! Excellant show, can't wait to see them again in Cleveland.
