I was at the Pittsuburgh show and thought that it was incredibly cool of Bono to bring up 'Party Girl Man' on stage to play. I read his post and was happy to see that it was a spontaneous moment. The sound and staging were as at every U2 show I've been to incredible. I've seen them about a dozen times over 20 years. I've followed th setlist posts and the setlist was pretty standard. The 2nd DC show had an incredible setlist. I personally always feel disappointed when I don't hear Bad.
I must disagree with posts about how much the crowd was 'into' the show. I saw them in Philadelphia Monday night and there was no comparison. The Philly crowd on Monday was 'jacked up' from the first song to the last.
The fans Monday were also in their seats and ready to go around 8:30 pm. At one point Saturday during "I still haven't found what I'm looking for' Bono had to prompt the crowd to singalong. No prompting needed on Monday in Philly.
All in all a very good show on Saturday but not 'great'.
