Most of you actually intended to go to the show on Saturday night. I traveled from Virginia for the Pitt-Syracuse game (good guys won) and learned U2 was at the Igloo the same day. After a post-game cheese-steak at Primanti's, my buddy and I decided to try our luck with the scalpers. We had just about given up but found a willing seller in front of the Marriott.
Our seats in Section F2 may have been above and in the back of the stage, but WOW!....what a show.
We had a pretty good view of Alin (that was way cool BTW) and kept wondering if he was a "plant" in the audience. So thanks to his great review, we now know better.
Section F actually shook during "Sunday Bloody Sunday" - a bit unnerving at first, but we got used to it.
In sum, it was an unexpected opportunity that became one of the best concerts I have ever been to.
