First of all U2 are still (streets) ahead of most bands but I'd just like to say that if you get a seat higher up in the stands then the sound quality often goes downhill. This might just be the acoustics of the MEN arena but I've now got full on head ache cos of too much of Edge's tinny/trebly guitar and too much muffled bottom end. I went to the toilets and as I made my way down it sounded great!! So its either: The venue or Their sound system.
Anyway Sunday Bloody Sunday/bad etc were all played ala Rattle&Hum energy levels and for this I still love seeing this band live. Edge knows how to play that electric guitar and Larry to me gets better all the time!
You're in for a treat if the sound is right and the air conditioning works!!
