What can't I say. Not only my first U2 show, but also the first of many concerts I had ever attended. I was 11 years old at the time. I remember clearly how the show all began. Big stadium stage with Joshua Tree pictures on either sides. The begining of streets with the Adam's bass humming. Then the incoming sounds of the Edge's guitar. What a great way for me to begin my concert going experience. I can still remember the chanting crowd singing "40". I would have never known that I would be at last show on the elevation tour handing Bono my FDNY Engine 54 Truck 4 shirt thatI picked up while visiting the fellas at the firehouse in Midtown shortly after 9/11/01. God bless this world we live in for allowing us to experience such amazing moments in out lives.
Can't wait for the vertigo tour, I can only imagine what memories I will take with me intp the future!
